Bug: Adobe menu bars are not visible when in Groupy

Applies to Photohop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Obviously, I can't work without the menu bars. In InDesign, you can get a glimpse of where the menubar disappeared to, and then when you go back to Illustrator, you can see that's probably where they're hiding in that as well. Photoshop, you can't see at all. The menubars work fine for Excel, and for another obscure old Windows application I use. I have not checked the other Adobe software, nor any other software. I have annotated screenshots, which are at the dropbox link above.

I attempted to recreate this issue with my adobe software but everything is working and showing as intended. Is there any difference in the menu bar if you go between full screen window and a re-sizable window?

Thanks for the report.

We have investigated and Adobe appear to have ignored standard Win32 conventions with their framework for their apps when maximized.

The good news is we have worked around their oddities and the next Groupy update will resolve this problem for you.

I'm not even remotely surprised Adobe ignored conventions. From my screenshots, it appears even the 3 Adobe applications I tried have different menu heights, and I'm glad this problem will be resolved. Thank you!

You are correct, the difference is full screen vs re-sizeable. Real estate is the big issue for me with all three of those programs, so I typically work in full screen for all three of them.

Thanks for your reply!
