Bought Object Desktop last night, installed a few of the tools..and srs chaos followed.

..ugh

I emailed support about this..as I don't need 100 replies about semantics or suggestions.
I'm frustrated and angry..

I plan on releasing a multiple page Blog about this situation, next month or around that time. As many specific details of the situation as possible.  The blog-article is going to be mind blowing insane.. as this was my worst experience in over 20 years.

- Object Desktop proverbially "stomped upon" my system.
[ Win10 x64 Pro, 2 yrs old..'higher end laptop. Other specs to follow in the blog. ]

This is not a troll post,..this is 100% genuine.

What is your ticket number? I would suggest just working with support to see what the issue is you are experiencing.

^^This.

Since you bought it, I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you want it to work.

...hmm...

Maybe I just need a refund..and to forget these "developers" lol...exist.

@Island Dog... check the system for emails within the last hour or two.. it's not that difficult.
Heck..if you can't find en email sent in the last 24 hours... that means you guys have bigger issues than I could ever imagine.

Did you create a support ticket or 'send an email'?  Two different things.

GuyInNewYork ... although this Forum section is headed 'Stardock Support' it is intended only as a location for interaction with other Users who may or may not be experiencing similar issues and can offer general assistance.

The correct course of action if or when an issue arises with any of Stardock's Software is to open a ticket at

https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit

...and to wait until there is a specific response from Support [beyond the automated notification].

As with ALL software that works intimately with one's OS and Shell [and not simply a program such as Photoshop] Individual installations have been known to raise issues often unique to the User and thus NEED to be handled one-on-one.

With that regard it should be noted that almost ALL Object Desktop Users experience no issues at all, any such that do are almost always due to issues arising from the [unexpected] Microsoft Update process, particularly endemic with Windows 10.

I'm proof of that. Since 2006 when I first joined WC I have had exactly 1, just one, issue that was quickly resolved in less than two days. Eleven years and only one issue, that says a lot about the devs at SD and their commitment to their software.
