Steam purchase of Start10 decided to stop working.

I purchased Start10 via steam about 4 months ago, and it had worked fine until today. Now, it refuses to recognize that it is a paid for product, and only gives me the option of buying it again, uninstalling it, or running a trial version, while holding my windows button hostage.

Steam will not help with technical issues for this product, and won't give me a serial key for it. How do I go about getting that? I still have the receipt email for it, and it is still in my steam library.

 

What should I do at this point?

It's important that:

-You do not have any other version of the software from any other source (stardock.com for example)

If you do, you need to uninstall that other version

-That you are logged into Steam and not as a 'guest'

-In the install directory, run sassteam.exe and see if you are able to use the product again.

Fences:

\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Fences

-If the above fails, uninstall / reinstall from within Steam (and only from within Steam) and try again.

Thank you very much. Running sassteam.exe seems to have "reapplied" the license.
