Pictures of Citizens not used during games

Hi to all,

I was creating quite a significant amount of nice png files to be used as pictures for my  citizens. I loaded them in the correct folder. Unfortunately during game - for some reason - all the time only the first three pictures are chosen by the engine, no other picture. Can I somehow solve this or is this a bug ? The problem came with the latest Update.

Thanks !

I've just used four standard citizen portraits - two male, two female - and as of 2.6 the game only gives me two male portraits and Citizens all called Bob Smith.

Stardock need to do something about this or the SJWs will be a'comin with their torches a'burnin...

Sounds like there's something broken in the "randomly pick citizen" routine that it really should be doing.

I know for a fact that this used to work, I created a custom faction that had a lot of custom citizen portraits, both male and female, and both sexes got used, although one got selected more than it should have (i.e. duplicate citizen names).

I think I know where the problem is.... actually the algorithm of the game only chooses pics which are tagged "Male". I tested that out by taking only female tagged pictures for a civilization. the algorithm chose in every case only generic male pictures which were not even in my chosen selection but are the ones provided by the game. Perhaps someone of Stardock reads this and they fix it ASAP as it is slightly unnerving.

I've been having the same issue.  Mine seemed to start with Version 2.5 .  Prior to that it the names and portraits were working fine.  Now, no female names or portraits appear in game.

Didn't you know in the future everyone is named "Bob Smith" ???

But we have seen this bug and are working on it!

And yet 3 years on it is still doing it. Certainly is for me. I've uninstalled reinstalled, deleted factions recreated them, hours of time to no avail.
