Why bring the wheel to crusade.

I was upset when they took away the planet based wheel, but without taxation affecting approval it was never superior to sliders.

Now they want to add the wheel to one of the civilizations in crusade.

My question is why since this was never a complaint about crusade.

The complaints with the citizens is that they were turn based instead of planet based.

Which faction are you referring to?  The wheel should only be in the base game.

Im afraid of a future patch that brad, and carrie are talking about. Im talking about synthetics.

Oh gosh. No offense, but I think the wheel was such a passionate issue, that now that it's gone... It would be wise to keep it gone.

I'm not opposed to synthetics getting something new and cool mind you. Perhaps a higher population to production ratio and morale. (no sleep/wasted time per citizen)

Ok whew!  Sorry, I'm the producer and on release day, one of my jobs is to be on the alert for major bugs.  My mind jumped to a [queue klaxon] "oh crap the production wheel somehow snuck into Crusade" :)

Brad had stated that he did not care for the wheel. I doubt it will return. It was far too easy to cheese production and rubber band back to economy or science. Good riddance.

I hope you're right, that the wheel won't return. However, Brad did state the following in part 1 of the sneak preview for v2.5:

"In a future Crusade update, we're going to make one of the player abilities be to be able to govern with the production wheel but lose the benefit of citizens (i.e. looking at you robot people!)"
