Stuck at Loading Assets screen

Hi,

 

I have had this game since June of this year and have had this persistent problem with the game being stuck at the loading screen. I have tried various fixes found online and on this forum but to no avail. Is there anything I can do to get this game to run? 

specs:

AMD Phenom II 1090t

8gb DDR3 RAM

Radeon r9 270x

gigabyte 790fxta Motherboard

2tb HDD

Pagefile currently set to 13gb

ok yeah ummm.... scratch what I said earlier! I don't know if it was the 2+hours of letting it sit and wait or the fact that I went back to 2.3 and re-verified everything but the game loads for me almost every time within a few minutes now!

Ram issue. I had the same before upgrading to 16GB. Notice that open browser will drain all your free memory. Check your paging file memory as well.

Thanks! I was considering going to 16gb ram anyways so maybe i'll just finally pull the trigger! :) Trying to load up the game again today has proven not so great, stuck again on the same issues so yeah, I'll just hold off a bit :P
