Allow us to have our own soundtracks! (demand)

I dont mean to say that GalCiv is having bad music artists, not at all! But at the same time I am really missing some good tracks while playing GalCiv!

Those from space empires, for example! No miracle will turn Space Empires game alive, but I could have their tracks from good ol' days while playing GalCiv.

Or maybe other players want something from Starcraft or other stuff! Allowing us to have music we want must be real easy to allow, just let us drop those soundtracks in particular folder and thats it!

I have to agree. GC2 allowed us to build our own play lists and tell GC2 where they were. Why was this dropped from GC3? It should not have been dropped.

Solution:

Step 1: Turn off in game music

Step 2: Either load up your favorite music using your preferred player or turn on music using your favorite streaming service.

Step 3: Return to game.

Step 4: Start playing game while listening to your favorite music.

True, I already figured that out. But I dont believe there actually will appear soundtracks as shared/modding content before the option is officially there

Wait. I put in my own soundtracks in the game. I haven`t done it in Crusade cos i don`t have time yet, but I did it in the default Civ3. Replaced every track with my own version. Even had the Babylon 5 intro for the main intro.

Have they changed something in Crusade or haven`t you tried?

The issue here is that previous GC versions gave us the option of specifying a playlist.

I want a heavy metal playlist.
