PBEM Multiplayer support

I posted this on another forum, but not sure if this is a better place.

I don't know either if forums are checked by Stardock staff.

Anyway. Please, add PBEM support.

We live sadly on a very time consuming life, and, I'm sure, a high percentage of GalCiv3 players, don't have time to spend 2/3/4 or more hours on a sitting to play MP games. This feature is a must have on this kind of games.
There are large maps for about 48 players, but this is impossible in this days to get 48players synced to play.
To minimize the impact of development, I think all necessary is:
Password protect turns.
Master Password to open a savefile and have the ablity to pass manually a turn, or the control of a civ to IA for example.

Probably I forgot something, but I think is all necessary to allow us to have PBEM games. If necesssary I will develop an automated tool to send files to next player.

I strongly ask to comunity to answer to this post to throw their support to this feature.

Release as a DLC if you want, I'm sure I will pay for it. Obivously I prefer to be free lol but ask for it if needed

Oh this would be completely awesome.

Seems like a lot here doesn't matter about PBEM.... sad :P

It was talked about in alpha.

Such a small percent of potential players wanted it and the cost to add it would be counter productive to profits so...

You play your turn, and next player turn is protected with password. You send it to next player and play their turn, and so on. A long existint feature on Civ for example.

This allows to play with other human players without the need to stay at the same time, all the players, connected to the game for hours to finish it.
