[MOD] Pirate, Space Monster, Dread Lord "Improvements"

Note: There are two mods here, one for GalCiv3 before Crusade and one for Crusade.  Be sure to use the right one.

These mods improve the pirates so that they are no longer as passive as they are without the mod.  Also, the space monsters are a little better, and the Dread Lords are tougher.

I have also included 2 new logos for the pirates which are based on TerranModel_130.png from the original GalCiv3.  It was changed when Crusade was released.

How are the pirates improved?
They build ships faster.
They research faster to build better ships.
They earn credits faster so they don't go broke and stop building ships.
Pirates are scavengers, so they can scavenge (capture) ships and use them.
They will use captured scouts to scout.
They will use captured survey ships to survey anomalies and make use of what they find.
They will use captured and found constructors to build starbases of all kinds.
They will use captured and found colony ships to settle planets.
They will build transports and invade planets.
They will destroy any AI (and you) if they get they chance.

They are not as intelligent as the regular AI, so they aren't all-powerful and will do some dumb things that you will probably notice.

What about the space monsters?
They are similar to the pirates but don't do as much.

What about the Dread Lords?
They start with more ships, which makes them more powerful at the beginning.  This gives them more time to get their planet going so they can destroy you later.

I have a big mod in the work, that rebalance a lot of things, around the lowered Population count from the Crusade DLC.

It include over hundreds of tweaks !

I would like to include part of this mod in my mod.

Do you give me permission to do so.

Thanks.

Do you install this is a mod folder, or do you take the files and replace in the main directory for the game?

All in mod folders.

I hadn't looked at this since soon after I posted it, so I missed these comments.

I'm not sure this works very well with the current version (2.70) of GalCiv3.  I quit using it as changes were made to the pirates with each update.  I have since made and have been using a new pirates-only mod that works well.  I think it's time to get this one updated since the pirates haven't been updated in the game for a while, so I probably don't have to deal with changes every GalCiv3 update.

I should note that the updates to Crusade (and maybe the base game since version 2.33) have changed the pirates enough so that the "improvements" that start with "They will" no longer work (mostly).  The only scavenged ships they use are warships.  In my current pirates-only mod, they do seem to use unarmed ships to "attack" things, but nothing happens since the ships are unarmed.  I have seen, twice, a planet that was conquered by the pirates.  I'm not sure how that happened.  I think a captured transport became part of a fleet that attacked ships at a planet and that another move allowed the transport to successfully invade the planet.
