Gaining resources but net gain/change is negative

The number is supposed to be the amount you have in surplus / deficit every click.... like you rate of gain/loss.

It depends on what you are building at any given moment.

It's somewhat more complex than that, but that is the gist.

If I understand the inquiry... you are asking why you might be gaining nodes, while your numbers are remaining in the negatives.

If you are building more things, or more expensive things, as you gain nodes, that would do it.

ANother thought... you also need to make sure that nodes can trace path back to your command center, or you won't collect their resources.

I think he is referring to the resource indicator being bugged out and incorrect at times. I have noticed it too, it's being looked into. Many bugs to fix. 

How this happens is different units use different resources in different amounts. So lets say I have - 6 income metal, and have +5 radioactives. If the unit being built uses more metal than radionactives, youll see the radioactives climb because the build is being slowed by the negative income of metal.  Now flip it around.. You have negative metal but its still increasing in your pool.. Because the build is using more radioactives than metal. So metal can actually increase.  Essentially one of the resources is lower rate, or pool, and that resource is slowing the build rate. So one resource is less negative than the other, so that resource will determine the build speed of the unit.

Yea, I've had it happen on occasion as well. It usually resolves itself in a couple of minutes. 

I thought it was just that, for example, metals AT FULL PRODUCTION would be negative, but radioactives are keeping the things from building at full production, so it's not using the metals and I'm gaining.
