...build a factory?  Or a research lab?  It's a wonder we escaped the Drengin the first time.  Or gave the galaxy the hyperdrive, seeing as how our homeworld doesn't even have an old shipyard in orbit. 

Are we sure we even know how to put on pants in the morning?  B)

Okay, thanks. 

I was just having a little fun there, but it still seems odd...I mean, we were building factories in the 1700's or as early as the 4th century, depending on what you call a "factory".  The idea came to us long before we thought we could actually GO somewhere else.

I think it's meant to be a sort of useful space age, colony supporting factory rather than say a factory that is just churning out brakepads for the best selling toyota
