Faction Creation

Just some thoughts on faction creation.

WIth those of us who love factions (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) and have 100s of factions, it would be really nice when you bring up Logos to indicate which logos are currenly used by your existing factions.

 

I have over 400 logos and it would be nice with either a click of a button or some type of indicator(border/marker) to indicate which icons are already used.

Nothing is worse than pushing up a faction and find out the logo is already used....

I agree as well.  I have about 92 of my own created factions and have had to look through all to make sure I did not have the same logo.

non-faction overlap help in general is something that would be great to have get a little love.  I've really been waiting for the 'create random faction' button that would randomly grab traits/dispositions/abilities along with generating a random ship design and color scheme, and also generate a random logos (maybe have logo templates that random color choices can be applied to), and random leader pics/animations (similar to logos?)

if we could specify a sub-directory for these, that would be great. And not too hard. I recently created a random generator for minor factions, though you have to paste xml into file to use. it's fairly simple program.
