Can't play more than 2 minutes of the Tutorial

So I get into the game and start the tutorial, with DX12 the game crashes sometimes quickly sometimes after a couple of minutes. With DX11 the game freezes; though audio still seems to be going on. My Event Viewer shows a crash but it doesn't tell me what crashed. The game is still on my screen during this occurrence, just with frozen graphics. I've tried just about everything I can think of from knocking down the graphics settings and re-validating the files in Steam.

I just bought the game and removed all overclocking on my system. I have also got rid of all of the MSI gaming apps and turned off Gaming Mode in Windows 10 of which I am completely up to date. I have a AMD Ryzen 1700, 16 GB of RAM, and an EVGA NVidia GeForce GTX 960 FTW on a brand new MSI X370 Titanium mother board.

Any Ideas?

How is it if you don't play the tutorial? Does it still crash then? I would suggest trying the first campaign as that breaks you into the game very gently if I remember correctly.
