Crashing on Critical Mass save games do not work after

After Patch 2.2 I started experiencing game crashes when hitting critical mass. Game plays fine otherwise. I have played the new 12 player and 8 player maps.

 

I can save games before it crashes, autosave works.

 

I am using the latest video drivers from Nvidia 381.65

I verify files and I always have 1 or 2 corrupt files but it never cleanly verifies. I have used DX11 DX12 and safe mode reinstalled vrdist reset my settings etc.. Running as Administrator.
