Game feels very slow now with the latest changes, because economic damage is not viable anymore in early game.

Hades is useless now to the point that it doesn't make any damage to resource points. Also 50 quanta engineer limits the gameplay very much with phc, because only few strats are possible and all involves ground units.

I don;t know what to make of this patch, but overall it feels as a very huge nerf to phc.

hades was never designed for attacking eco..? its an AOE bomber... meaning it is good for masses of buildings or units.. not isolated units or structures.. ie mechanically useless vs resources. only reason it used to be effective is since eco was ridiculously weak.

i think a lot of high tier players are going to be unhappy.. since they got to high tier relying on air cheese... the game now has more of a natural tech to air (like all other strategy games) as opposed to being able to send air units within 5 min... no other game has that kind of ease of access to raid an enemy base with AIR units... in order to make air in 5 min then we should have land units be the same.. meaning creeps should be taken away..

so as PHC now u have a little more of a feeling what its like playing SS... struggling with engineers.. at least u can build engineers constantly.. while SS still needs to decide.. engineer... OR HARVESTER.. not both... lucky PHC..

play SS for crying out loud...

I get the feeling the changes were proposed almost only on substrate player feedback. they got their wish regarding cheap eco, macro and whatever they may think about it with the new patch. 

 

Medic is very slow and along with it whole phc economy as for the rank you are delusional if you think air was the sole reason for high rank.

You may have the feeling that air was strong because at top tier you would get heavy air harass. Hades was supposed to be the only way to do damage to the economy early but it's not working because of a bug and even so the resources have too much hp.

 

This patch did not raise the bar in skill, it just pulled the good players to the mediocre lvl play where you always have one path for win by brawling in a protracted lan war in which sub always has the upper hand in both land and air.

I see the current patch as a way to allow a boring repetitive gameplay over and over again. There is no diversity appart from the seldom sentry rush. both sentry and engineer nerfed to the ground because of low ss player that do not have a clue how to macro.

I view the patch more favorably, but I play more skirmish than MP. However I am not enjoying the new bugs. Game crashes at end of skirmish every time ( Supposed to be fixed soon in 2.21 patch) and I cant save a skirmish game after I have very large armies, like > 10K units.  The save game is the bigger issue. When you run a large or vast map with 6-9 AIs, the game can be long.. SO I tend to play the game over a few days.  Well cant now so on Hold till it gets fixed. I love having the huge armies all over the place..

Not sure why you think the Hades is unless, it received a very generous price reduction. There is more utility to bombers than instantly wiping extractors.

Frigates were also buffed in 2.2, and we have more buffs coming for Frigates in 2.3 which will make the Hades have even more of a role to play.

This suprised me but he has some good points.... No offence... Hades I told GG to buff it's stats not reduce cost but, sry to tell you it's an aoe bomber not a single target so forget that idea with efficent vs eco.... But it's not trash dou to cost reductuon, just in my opinion wrong changes.....

Game speed, well by the time a dread has used to crossed the map, I have allready made a better version of the map.... That is also mostly true (not with render time)..speed changes must up...

Also neinhalt ballance is based upon 2 things, what gg think and what gg like of our feedback.... If he disagree it won't happen most of the time...  He can be talked away from stupid things.... so he is not bad and he more of a PHC player I think....

Also nein capasitor anf medic speed was nerfed so they did not ran away so quickly
