Hello everyone.

I am a new player and I play Galactic Civilization 3 with a friend of mine. We both have the original version and 'Mercenaries Expansion Pack' .

However, I rarely see any games in steam multiplayer. Even when I do, people are usually waiting for someone else and kick me. I was surprised to see that the forum is so active. Do you guys play multiplayer somewhere else? 

I really want to start a medium/large map which we could finish in few hours and perhaps play this Friday/Weekend.

I'm very interested in multiplayer, but not quick one session games on fastest speed. I'm in on multi-session longer games with trusted players that are added as Steam-friends, and that are playing on preset times, or with just 1-3 more humans (+AI) that  are often at Steam most evenings.

I found 7-8 theemperor, but none theemperor2812. What's your country? Hope to do some epic multiplayer games after Crusade is out.

I would love to attempt a four player MP game 2 vs 2 (turn times may need to be watched to keep the game from dragging but, it could be interesting)  Now to figure out logistics :)
