Can't add cursors to cursor XP

Have tried to add sword cursors and am unable to How do I correct this? Works on my laptop but not Desktop. Both win 10 os

Are you sure you are not talking about CursorFX? CursorXP has not been around for many, many years. If you still have CursorXP and are trying to apply a CursorFX set, that will not work.
