Start8 not working in Windows Server 2012R2 Standard

I have tried multiple times to install the Start8 application on one of my servers without success.  I was able to install objectbar long ago so I have no doubt that startdock apps should work normally as advertised.  Even though, my account is an admin account, I picked "run as administrator" just in case as well.  These are high end systems so resources is not a problem.  We employ server hardware as desktops so I am not concerned with other services or individuals impacting it correct operation.  Thoughts?

After what appears to be a normal install (no errors pop up), there is no change in the desktop.  I have confirmed that the service is running.  I note that there are three entries: Start8Srv.exe, Start8_64.exe under my account and Start8_64.exe under System account.  In the past attempts, an error would pop up after a patch reboot.  I do not recall the specific verbiage.  I am currently running two processes so I cannot reboot the server presently but will do so after the jobs complete.

After some time, the following error popped up:  "Unable to verify digital signature for c:\Program Files(x86)\Stardock\Start8\SdAppServices.dll. Please reinstall the product or contact support."

The server does not have normal access to the Internet for security reasons.
