Start10 menu not showing when pressing the Windows key

Hello all. I successfully downloaded and installed Start10 on both my laptop and desktop PCs. On the desktop everything is fine, while in the laptop I have a rather annoying behavior: while clicking on the Start button succesfully shows the Start10 menu, pressing the Windows key on the keyboard opens up the standard Windows 10 menu, even if Start10 is configured to open the Start10 menu both clicking on the Start button and pressing the Windows key. I really can't understand what's happening... Do someone has a clue?

Thanks!

I've not seen that.  Are you using the laptop keyboard or an external?  It is a laptop or a convertible?

I'm using the laptop keyboard, I didn't try an external one but I can in a few hours. It's a regular laptop, a Clevo P170SM

Started having the same trouble today at around 17:00.  It fails on two accounts on my desktop but not my laptop.  Both the laptop and desktop has one standard and one 4k display.  The start button on the ribbon is the tailored one from start 10.  All attempts to go to win 8.1 and start10 format fails.

Re-installed start10.  Still no joy. Using:

Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393

I forgot to report back! Using an external keyboard works fine on the laptop. So ot seems it's something with the laptop keyboard? But what could it be?

Sorry for the bump, but do I have some debugging options? After months I still didn't find any solution

No worries!  :)

Did you contact support so they could look at your config?

I experienced the same problem with the Start Menu not appearing when I pressed the Windows key.  My issue was keyboard-related.  I have a gaming keyboard with different gaming modes.  One of those modes apparently disabled the Windows key!  Switching modes solved my problem.

For reference, my gaming keyboard is a Mad Catz v7.  To switch modes, I pressed the red button that looks like 4 tiger stripes.  Hope this helps.  Start10 is a fantastic app.
