Agree with ZombiesRus5. It's the Rebellion icon. Nothing more. Now if it had been holding up two fingers or some other concept of a 2 in symbology then we can discuss.

While that could be taken as a 2, the hand was always divided.  It's a non-indicator.

The icon was updated on Facebook as the one on Facebook had been wrongly used for some time.  The logo has a full arm usually and half when there is text (or it would look silly)

No hidden meanings.

Exactly this. I don't use FB so I never noticed it until it was pointed out to me by a friend and the correction was made.
