import ship designs from gc2

Don't think it's possible. You'd have to copy each component model file that your ship is compromised of and place into your GC3>GFX>Models folder. The problem is that in GC2, all of your ship component files are .x files. In GC3, the components are separated into separate mesh and texture files, with the mesh files being .sdf files. The other problem lies with your old ship configuration files for GC2. In GC2 you only need two files, whereas in GC3 you need three files. Well, you also need your image files too, but they'd be easy enough to make. So basically no, can't be done to my knowledge. I had looked into it hoping to bring my old favorite design into GC3 myself.

Well this might help it will require a separate photo editing program when I did it with faction files a couple years ago I used paint.
