Deskscapes displayed multiple wallpapers!

After minimizing my browser window I noticed that the deskscapes background had paused.  Usually it restarts after a few seconds but not this time.  I selected another wallpaper and suddenly both were active at the same time.  I clicked a third one and all three were displayed.  A reboot cleared up the problem but I'm thinking, with the right combination, overlaid animated wallpapers would look cool, if a little hard on the CPU.

It will probably never happen again but it seems deskscapes does have the ability to overlay multiple animations.  I wonder if Stardock can make that an option in the configuration programm.

Anyone else ever seen this happen?

It can alreay do this. It's called a hybrid dream (Vintage Dream is one such a dream).

See (old) manual: https://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/helpDS325/DeskScapes_Guide_v3.25.pdf

You mean you can create a hybrid dream which is one or more standard dreams overlaid or played end to end?

No, you can have a background image with multiple animation overlays which together form one hybrid dream.

Ok, what I saw today was multiple dreams running on top of each other.  I wonder how it managed to juggle them that way.

Ok, misunderstanding since you were talking about wallpapers not dreams (quote: I selected another wallpaper and suddenly both were active at the same time.  I clicked a third one and all three were displayed.)

Don't know what could have caused that.
