Changing the color of the details pane on bottom

In SKS. Open edit explorer/IE shall parts. Open Explorer parts/Explorer info pane/Background. That is the image you would have to change. If you want to use the same image and change the color. click on Extra Settings at the bottom. Make sure you have "Enable to use the color settings below" Now you can change Text color and text color two to what ever you want using the drop down menu. (I just set them to the same color.

Thanks Dave it worked. I wanted to change the background to blue but I think I like the white font better.

One more question, when you start a new skin which one does it give you to start with?

Al the Diamond WB. However for windows 7-8-and 10 it is missing a lot of images and also has a lot more in it then is used now.

I would suggest you use my latest Christmas skin as a template as I give you permission. I will be happy to work with you on making your first skin if you wish. If you use Photoshop it will even make it easier. You will be making your own images, etc.  What ever you want.

Thanks again Dave. I want to do something simple at first. I've been using PaintShop Pro 15. I do have a copy of Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop 7 lying around somewhere. Between the 2 PaintShop has an easier learning curve for me. First I have to make a mock up of want I want and to make sure I'm not copying anyone else's designs.

For what you need Photoshop for you rally don't need to know all about it. I used PSP for several years till I switched to PS. Well I'm here if you want to use me no problem. Also if you want to email me I did put my address at the bottom of the last PM I sent you.

CS3 should work. Earlier versions are a bit iffy.
