Thanks for this Leo the Lion. DL'd the beta and checked out the articles. Very nice.

This looks great. I can't wait to see how it performs vs. other programs in the AVTest!

I'm not replacing MSE/Windows Defender with this new version.  The current Malwarebytes works just fine with Defender.

It's still in Beta....so don't get too eager to use it...;)

Hence the 'free trial' - 13 days.

According to their faq, that should work the same...no problems. Also, if you are a subscriber, you will be 'grandfathered' in to the final.

FYI I'm running the MBAM 3.0 beta on the Windows 10 Anniversary Build and there is no conflict with Windows Defender.

I usually fare pretty good with betas. Not so with this one. After the install it did the auto update thing and froze my system. Nothing worked. Had to do a system restore and reinstall the regular version. Doo doo happens.

Uvah...together with your prior problem, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet there's something up with your machine.

Upgrading from MBM 2.2.1 to MBM beta 3.2 went fine, Windows 10 & all other programs ran fine - then I rebooted. 45 minutes later some programs still hadn't loaded and I too did an image restore. Suggest avoiding the MBM beta for now.

Well, I use MSE/Windows Defender here and nothing else. Never had a virus or anything else, so I will stick with it.

At least I'm not alone in this. I did a complete system check. Used Windows backup to trouble shoot and repair the OS and its running smoothly. Programs load normally, no lag. The system restore was quick with no hassles. Nothing wrong that I can find.
