Ground Texture Graphical Glitch

So I've been playing Ashes of the singularity: Escalation and actually enjoying it, but I've been running into one issue that I am not sure how to resolve (Graphical Issue).

In the below screenshot you can see within the highlighted area that the ground texture transitions from high resolution to very low resolution.

Texture Issue

My system specs are the following:

Nvidia/Gigabyte gtx 970

Core I7 6700k

16gb DDR4 ram

Windows 10 with anniversary update.

Below are the current settings which I am running ingame.

If I need to attach any more info here just let me know and I'll post it asap.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I haven't heard anything in regards to this issue, so I'm just posting another image to confirm that it is recurring. Anyone know whats going on?

I've noticed it as well. To me it looks like a bug related to the LOD or texture mipmap on the terrain.

I get this as well and have seen it on AMD and Nvidia hardware. I think everyone gets it. I play at 1200p but I've seen it on 4k as well where it is very noticeable as everything else is so sharp. I guess it is super aggressive LODs or something. Not sure though as it is inconsistent and in patches. But it has been around for ages. I wish it wasn't though as it does take a little something from the experience and makes the product seem a little less polished.

Well atleast I know that it's not my specific hardware/software config.
