I raved about this software utility about a year ago on how it can dramatically improve the sound experience on any Windows PC. I run a decent set of Creative speakers connected to my Qosmio laptop in my office and the sound quality improvement after installing Bongiovi DPS is like night and day. If you are looking for improvement in the sound quality of your music or movies you will be blown away by this little plug-in.........and its being offered for free until the end of the year.

I jumped all over it when I first read this thread. Dl'd it and the install went flawlessly. I didn't have to turn off anything. Maybe its just me lol. Been enjoying it ever since and the quality of the sound is amazing. I use a set of generic laptop speakers. I could blow the windows out if I wanted to. Rarely do I ever crank it up. For those of you that got the driver error after installation I found that going into Device Manager and disabling any audio device in Sounds, Video and Game Controllers prior to installation was key. After installation I then went back in and had to re-enable my Realtek HD Audio and then Bongiovi's Digital Power Station takes over the lead sound role. Unbelievable sound difference. Quality on my Creative T40's. Might just get a separate subwoofer.

Yours still works? Mine stopped working and asked to be updated. I updated it and then it wouldn't work until I paid for a licenses key. So it's not free anymore, so I adjusted the eq in my audio apps. Shame I really liked it.

That’s strange. If you go to their website it’s a 30 day trial and $30 to buy. I downloaded it with everyone else.

AL, Did you keep the email that you received from Bongiovi when they gave you the free upgrade It should have your license Key in the email. You'll be able to activate the latest version.

Unfortunately no. I did save the .exe file and I don't remember receiving a key for it or I would have saved it in the file with the exe. Damn!
