Necromancer Hero Bug

Okay fired up the necros for a spin on the gauntlet map. It appears that once you select the talent for +10 death charges at battle start normal charge generation from unit deaths stop working. Only death's embrace spell on kill effect still works. 

 

Another possible culprit is the necromancers circlet as was pointed out on steam discussion of this bug.

I can confirm something wonky is happening with Raza, and now that I think about it the culprit might be the Necromancer's Circlet.  Will check it out.

Indeed it does seem to be linked to the Circlet.  Maybe two on-death effects can't be active on the same unit at the same time?

ahhh.  I just noticed that I wasn't getting any death charges on the Necromancer and couldn't figure out why.  Hope that's a bug and they fix it.
