So, this has to be the oddest, funniest, and just strangest thing I have seen from AVAST so far when it scans my PC.

 

What exactly is a 'decompression bomb' anyway?

A decompression bomb is a file that unpacks to an enormous amount of data - thus "flooding" the unpacking engine. It's quite hard to detect such files reliably, so it's possible that it gives some false alarms ocassionally.

If it were so 'finest' it wouldn't be claiming 'decompression bomb' on legitimate software...;p

I just renewed my Kaspersky...now on 3 machines so I could dump the junky AVs on the other two....one was Comodo...and the other....Avast...;)
