It would be nice if when in ship designer I can click on a component in the ships components and say upgrade to latest. This would save the need for first removing it, then adding it back in.
I heartily agree, as long as "latest" means the latest normal replacement and excludes the one-off precursor components that you can only use once.
its not that easy, cause the latest component are often bigger then older ones, so they might simply not fit
Correct, But that should be an easy detection.
Right click item -> menu comes up -> swap for latest
- Code then checks to see if there is room/weight if yes - it makes swap, if no then pops up dialog box explaining.
I would love to swap the current component it has been equipped on the ship with the other one. Both older and newer because i hate to wiggle them to be on place where i want every single time. The ship part was too snappy and not always go where i intended start to engulf me with rage.
