Vertical black bars in Chrome in VXP 2010 Masterskin

After installing this skin Chrome has a flickering, intermittent vertical black bar on the left side of its windows. It is pretty distracting. I can work around it by installing a skin for Chrome but then I am not getting the full value of my Masterskin. I have tried disabling hardware acceleration but it made no difference. Can anyone help?

Well schefter, as a skin designer myself and being very familiar with VXP 2010, I can tell you that it is not the WB skin, it is Chrome. I have tested VXP 2010 in Windows 7, 8 and 10 and I use Chrome on all OS's. However, I only use one theme in Chrome itself (Slinky Modern), as WB has issues skinning Chrome at times, like the one you are having now.  Not much else you can do.

One thought though, are you video drivers up to date?

I think you may tweak the parameters on the vertical bar in SkinStudio having a black painting issue like old skins on new OS.

Yeah love Slinky Modern myself, as the OP found out black bars on the left is a 32bit issue, face it anyone with a modern computer should be running 64bit nowadays.
