Season 1 of Ashes of the Singularity ranked multiplayer has come to an end! In the months
since the game's release, we here at Stardock have enjoyed interacting with a very robust and
enthusiastic community of players. A few of you in particular came crashing into Season 1 with
your proverbial guns a'blazing, taking us (and the rest of the player base) by storm.

Are the top 3 going to get some kind of prize? Would seem to be a nice gesture and a fun incentive. Even just $50 to the winner, $30 to 2nd and $20 to 3rd would do I'd think. Money is easy to send via paypal nowadays and $100 every few months won't break the bank. Or if money wasn't deemed appropriate then perhaps a gift of whatever Steam game they wanted up to a certain value would be a good alternative.

Another idea for a nice little gesture would be that the previous season winner, or perhaps previous top 3, would get their own little icon in place of the Legend rank in the new season. Kind of like the previous winning wearing the yellow jersey in the Tour de France.

I think these sorts of things can do a lot to engender good will towards the Devs and game in general :).
