Ooo a nice surprise. I'll have to start a new game this evening as I presume I need to restart to get these new effects.

If the mod works with 1.81, it should work with the DLC

Hey, Stardock, listen up!  You guys are delivering new patches and DLC so fast I can't finish a game before you release another one.  Dammit, I'm gonna have to quit my job, give up any social life (like I had one), and give up all other games to keep up with you.

Seriously, I'm so glad I chose to become a founder.

Amen brother! I've never regretted one moment becoming a founder, one of the best choices I've made in a long time!

I am not laughing -- that would be beneath my dignity, but i can't deny there is a little internal smirk welling up that i find is hard to suppress. ^_^

Internal smirks are all very good, but the truth is that you would have spent less if you shopped the Steam sales, which I did to gift a copy to a family member.

Still, that person doesn't have this DLC, and I may or may not have gloated about that yesterday evening.  ;)

I am not a founder. I have bought the game + all but one of the DLC's at full price and was happy to do so, money well spent. Still cheaper than one good night out!

Loving this new DLC.     The new colonization events are very welcome, as are the new components/improvements.  It's making me play a game where I colonize more worlds than normal just so I can try to see them all. ;P

Also as I poke around a bit, I think I'll love the next DLC even more.  No words from me on it right now though.  Want to keep it a surprise, after all. :X :X :X

I do have concerns about balance on smaller maps with some of these weapon components.  I'm wondering if they need a >1 galactic resource cost attached to their building requirements or some adjustment to cost and mass.

Does the A.I know how the play this DLC.I am seeing reports that is does not use the new goods in this dlc.

It should use most of them, if they unlock them. All I see that would prevent the AI from using them are the improvements that are defined as Defense or Military, since the default AI Governors are not keyed to build any of these types of improvements, and that has been around since I started playing in December.

I have seen these references too :)

Blah blah when do we get a tool to create custom factions with custom shipsstyles instead every patch seems to mess up modded shipstyles. I wonder why?

Thanks Stardock!  Great DLC, job well done.

I use ALOT of custom shipstyles and I have not had a single issue with the patches.

Man, that decision to be a Elite Founder looks better and better every passing DLC.

Which reminds me:  I'm no longer seeing my Founder's Badge. Nor do I see them for anyone else who I *know* is a founder. Whazzup wit dat?
