use OldNewExplorer to get rid of that portion.
I think that the WinCustomize Website should have a Clear Visible link to OldNewExplorer  on the Front/Home page, also explaining what it does as far as getting a consistent/homogenous style of the WindowBlinds skins when applied.

-Not all, but most users don't want the "White bits"  |-)

That portion of windows explorer is unskinnable, via Microsoft.  Believe me, Stardock has tried.

BUT, you can use OldNewExplorer to get rid of that portion.

Actually Jim that is a great link for information about OldNewExplorer and other tweaks, but it's hard to find the download link on MSFN for it. It is a lot easier to download from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/OldNewExplorer.shtml .  :)

That's a pretty cool utility, RedneckDude!

I'm going to give it a try, thanks a lot for pointing out.

Andy, while that might be cool, I don't think WC is known for touting software made by other companies on the front/home page.  Just sayin.  ;)

Thanks for the better link, Tom.

This would be the occasion when that rule probably don't apply since it makes WB look the way it's intended. :cylon:

Hence why I made a thread in Requests about that there should be a link to OldNewExplorer on frontpage of W.C.  |-)
