Game freezing after about 2 minutes

I recently upgraded my computer.

2x 1080gtx

6700k cpu

32 gig ram

Not overclocking anything for now.

My ashes games are crashing every single time after about 2 minutes (seems like in exactly the same amount of time, or very close based on how much i get built before it crashes).

The game just stops.  No error message, no anything.  Music still plays, but the game just stops doing anything.   Task manager is not reporting a non responsive thread when this happens.

I ran a hardware monitor while trying this the latest time.  My CPU is staying at about 60C and my GPUs are staying around 70C.  Both well within their normal operating temperatures.  I of course have the latest drivers of everything and as my system is pretty much brand new, everything including my OS (win 10) is working on a fresh install.

Not sure where I should even begin to troubleshoot this.

This sounds like the exact same issue I have been having

when I checked the sys logs, I've noticed it's the nvidia driver crashing

the only workaround I have found is to run the nvidia drivers in debug mode

OP if your CPU is overclocked try it at stock settings.
