Multiplayer increasing the fun on gameplay

Hey guys,

while playing multiplayer with a collegue we noticed that the fun on playing multiplayer goes down after some games.

So I would like to present you my ideas for more gameplay options. Hopefully the gameplay will inspire more people to get injected. ;)

 

1. Long play

There should be an option to have a long play game which will not finish so quickly. This could be done by increasing the buy out. I noticed that a player which was not so good like I was could buy me out but I had so much more money then him. So simply an option which includes the players money to the buy out option would increase the time of playing.

Additional the market prices should differ more from time to time so it's not possible to always build with the same strategy. For example electricty is nearly 1 on beginning so theres no need to build electricity because buying it is cheaper. Like this the prices could go up and down while playing so I need to rebuild.

 

2. Multiplayer Campaign

The most fun on me is playing the campaign because it gives  a wider range of possibilities. If this could be possible as a multiplayer it would be awesome. Also playing in a team on a campaign then. There could be an option to select the count of rounds to play for example so it gives this option a lot flexibility to users.

 

Oh I have so many ideas but first of all I'm interested in these options. And for sure it's important to know if you want/need more ideas.

This normally does not happen. Are you sure you secured 5 of your own stock first? It sounds like maybe he got an early buyout on you and you did not secure your stock. The other option in play could be that the other player bought into you and you did not buy into them to try to buy them first and get your shares back.



If you want a longer game secure all 10 of your own stock before other people and it will take them a lot more time and money to buy you out! =)

 

If you are bored with multiplayer then perhaps it is more because of the level of competition you're playing rather than game mechanics (maybe not). There are a lot of really good players out there that would give you more of a challenge and make the multiplayer experience so much better. I can tell you that when I play against new players vs. playing against good experienced players it's a totally different game. Much more fun and exciting! If you want to see what I mean add me on steam and I can get you in with some of the games with veteran players if you're up for the challenge. A lot of the veteran players have been playing on the next version so you probably haven't run into them yet.
