Ranked Matches - Cant no longer join

Been playing for about 1 week without much problems.  Today, I won my last match and was returned to the screen to join the queue for another match and there was an error string and my rank was no longer displayed.  My rank now shows "Unranked".  When I click the button to join the queue, I get  "Fail to start Matchmaking" and I can no longer enter the queue now. I restarted the game and I have the same problem. 

So I can no longer play until this is fixed ;(

 

Running the DirectX12 version with the latest AMD drivers which released a new version yesterday.

Rebooted computer ... tried Directx12 again ... still cannot join rank games

Rebooted computer ... tried the non Dirext12 version ... still cannot join.

Obviously something local as gone bad but where ?

have exactly the same problem and they asked me to make a ticket. I think that is server related because if you click your profile in the game you will see it has no data and the database is somehow corrupt.

 

from now on is like you don't have a registered account anymore so all you can access is your stats from ranking until the moment the error happened.

if they wont fix this at launch I will ask for full refund, it;s pretty game breaking.

 

edit: don't bother in checking the integrity or reinstalling. if you check the integrity it will say that one file is missing and has been restored. if you go this madness road you will reinstall the game like I did and the last thing you can do is reinstall windows so just don't

Problem occurred between 11h00 and 11h15 EST.

Maintenance was at 9h00 I believe.

I believe it must be something local that got corrupted otherwise if it was server side, this place would be flooded with comments such as mine.

I just verified my profile and it is blank. Looks like I have the same problem as you, I no longer have a registered account.

I will open a ticket.

Update: I have rank again, I have just logged in. Did not modify any file whatsoever and an update was going. So I am pretty pleased.

The maintenance is now complete. You shouldn't have any issues with matchmaking now.

Correct.  I just verified and it is working again.

Although I was aware of the maintenance, I did not know the impact.  Maybe in the future, post the impact of the maintenance ?

We do maintenance for Online Services for Ashes on Tuesday mornings. During this time, I wouldn't expect any online services (match making, leaderboards, etc.) to work. Normally, we are done with it in under 2 hours, but sometimes (though rare!) go over. If they happen to go over, we try to provide status updates on where we are in the maintenance, and how much longer it'll take.

 

If we do a maintenance (expected or unexpected), we'll be sure to post on the support forums with info on when it'll start, and how long it's expected to last.
