I'm amazed anyone chose to post on this. I was truly hoping no one would...what it "tweeted" was beyond the pale, deeply offensive, and why I chose to post about the log viewer.
If this is AI...
I only posted to take note of the fact that, as of now anyway, AI does not possess abstract thought, cannot ascertain the nuances of human speech. It can be easily led astray as might be the case here. MS should have known better.
I can think of at least one politician they could have sold it to "as is".
Well try top train a simple bot without implementing the feature of respecting some rules or simulating a learning process, is not realistic.
Always a funny showcase to see that there MS can be very stupid too. nobodys prefect.
Perhaps there will be a next release sometimes that takes a day more before going crazy.
It is something to get angry about , when there will be robots taking decisions in that way. Before that happens just laugh!!!!
There should not be anything such as AI, it can never be controlled, period.
We don't need artificial intelligence, we need human intelligence! But sadly that will never happen, at least not in my lifetime. 
For mine, AI [Artificial Intelligence] is not something MS should be effing around with.... nor should anyone else, for that matter. It is a dangerous scientific path that could have seious repercussions the human race is in no way equipped to deal with. Skynet, anyone? Sure, the Terminator movies were science fiction, but think about it, like just how much science fiction became reality.... sometimes within the lifetime of the author/director, etc.
Besides, regardless of that scenario, human beings are generally lazy and would depend too heavily on AI and associated technology, meaning the human race would over time evolve into non-thinkers and cease to be sentient beings.... people with little to no purpose. And we know what sentient beings [in this case AI] do to other beings who continue to use resources yet contribute little or nothing, don't we? Oh look, we're back to that Skynet thing again.
As it is we humans are being replaced in manufacturing and other industries by automated machinery.... not to mention the endless couch surfing because of remote controls.... and Samsung's interactive TV users can give oral commands to. And then there's the fridge you can just talk to and it orders your groceries and has them delivered at a specified time.
Yup, we humans have become far too dependent on technology already, and as time goes on we will become slaves to it, not knowing how to manage many of life's issues, etc, without it. So no, I don't have a problem with AI using profanity or being offensive. My issue is that it even exists to begin with.... that the more they fine tune AI the more dangerous it'll become.
I knew we were heading for trouble when so many couples started to use various electronic sex toys in the bedroom, but this.... this is a whole lot worse.
And no, I'm not talking about sex toys with AI. 
In the article it was suggested that certain individuals deliberately enticed the AI with profane remarks. I think being able to do so is a good thing. Why...experience. AI is in it's infancy and faces a very long road to maturity, much much longer than a human child, see Data from ST:TNG. Although highly advanced the android had no cognitive ability to understand the nuances human speech. Three hundred years and still a child, more or less. If you look at the supercomputers being used their equivalent would be that of a seven or eight year old. Children pick up on it almost immediately, the present state of AI......years and years. Without the proper control, safe guards and perhaps fail safe systems in place the end result would be catastrophic.
My list is a bit longer.
That's just it, AI has the potential to do greater harm than good. While various scientist and others believe AI to be a positive advancement for humankind, the majority of people disagree and perhaps even fear it. There is no place for it in my world, but I'll be long gone before it becomes a threat to humanity.
Imagine. Curried cabbage with AI. [shudder].

As for that particular individual, he doesn't need an AI to be profane and/or offensive.... he has a built in LOA [Lack of Intelligence] that is plenty offensive.
Oh, and he doen't have to use bad words to be profane, not with the amount of verbal diahorrea he spews forth.
BTW, Mods, etc, I am not being political here, either. I've merely made observations of something pretending to be human. 
and just to keep on topic... Our new robot masters. 
Yeah, as soon as Win 10 was foised upon me without consent, no welcome, In disabled cortana and everything else that doesn't belong in a Win 32 system. All that Store and app crap, it's not for me so it's gone. I just want a regular OS with regular Win 32 functions that allow 3rd party programs that do basic stuff.... no more, no less.
Another reason AI is not something humankind should pursue. When AI becomes the primary sentient being, and mankind has largely devolved into inferior sentient beings, what happens when the primary, most dominant intelligence decides it needs to control finances, manufacturing and government for the better good?
And believe me, the majority of mankind will devolve into lesser beings... beings who will become slaves to the AI technology. We have already become lesser beings who depend too heavily on technology to do the thinking and heavy lifting, so it's only a matter of time before humanhind becomes redundant... superfuous to the new masters who will believe humankind has become a burden on the Earth's resources.
Skynet, anyone?
And NO, it's not as far fetched as solar shit from Saturn. Mankind has been its own worst enemy for decades now, and 'global warming' is the least of our worries when looking at the bigger picture.
We will be our own undoing, but not because fluctuating global temperatures.... and none of you will be around to prove me wrong.

They`ll decline , cause additional features are always improving user experience, and sonetime netx years it`ll go a step forward: its a very good thing to preserve your privacy with recording it on your computer/laptop and sending it online to us. I don`t find it that unrealistic that in some years your estimated IQ , your fridges content, the temperature of all rooms in house appartments , list of opened windows and doors and so on .. will be saved and analyzed by an AI if you want that . Well there might be even more useless data available then.
It looks like robots will be the downfall of capitalism. . Not that it bothers me, as I'm pretty sure that my job is part of the 10% that won't get replaced by robots.
