Ideas for planes.

I was thinking of getting a blue pulsing light on the back for the thruster.

Dim blue light. and if possible when you move a plane, it thrusts brighter.

It is really hard to see planes, especially phc planes.

Well, I am ranked number 6 in the world atm.

Go DI Purple Monkey

=)

The ranking system is good, and I like the fact you can play with a lower ranked person.

Also, The graphics are 'acceptable' now on my AMD.

I had 2 hard crashes, and I seen the Q thing going on once, but it kept going.

Multiplayer is extremely stable, and never had a crash in over 40 games.

Also, maybe take out proving ground, or label it extra small map.

Because to be honest, with substrate it is hard to win on small maps such as these, and people will confuse this for an unbalance.

Economy is ok, but there is no incentive to strive for the other points, however, the VP does make a difference and that reflects in online MP ranked.

I can not think of any improvements at the moment, maybe make the drone call down for Substrate a little quicker.

Oh, the generators are easier to see, but what I was thinking of was having a light emerge when an extractor is on, a flame or a pulsing light. As in, there was production.

Sounds need an overhall, some are really low standard. I am sorry to be too honest. But yeh.

Make some evil noises, ' We will crush them;. blah blah.

Great game, and I have been spreading the word now.

I have noticed when I have been spamming elsewhere that people get the NVIDIA, AMD thing now.

Saying this, I am sure someone wakes up somewhere saying.... 'It is Async Shading, not Async Compute'. lol

The frame rate is a little jerky at times, and as we know that is directly correlated to the benchmark lines.

Not enough to cry about.

But I do miss the planes on the oriignal build.

Also, the planes appear and reappear at times, not lag, but something else.

Also, how can a plane just stop still. when I press stop, it does just stop.. literally !!

And, put stronger defenders on main generators.

And, getting two points with the first 2 engineers is ridiculous. You got to think about people who are new to the game.

I have no difficulty seeing the PHC planes. More lights don't necessarily make things easier to see.

The original planes were good from a game engine benchmark/demo point of view, but hindered game-play.

7th.

Also, you should stop creating new accounts.

You really should be posting that in your original thread instead of creating new threads continuing on the original discussion.

Actually the other thread is about the consistency of frame rates, originally.

All good,

I guess when you write this comment are you inferring that my concerns are less than yours. I have difficulty seeing the smaller firgther planes, and other people have posted about this issue.

I have honestly no idea how Nvidia people can see them.

It truly scares me that people do not realise what AMD can do with draw calls.

I have seen the comparison, as mentioned, when I bought a gtx 970, and then returned it and got an R9390.

Really scarey.

Finally this Developer has admitted they will shut off Async for NVIDIA< I could see that happening.

I guess, everyone should just go out and get any R9 series GPU AMD>

I was running an I3, and R9270

16gb of ram makes not difference to 8.

And, my I3 worked just as well as my I5.

So, yeh, a little annoyed.

Could have saved myself a couple of hundred dollars.

Title: "Question. What happened to all the graphics. Why was it toned down?"

First sentence: "I can now see poor quality graphics compared to the previous build".

Of course not, if you have problems then others may also. The developers will likely need to tweak the graphics to improve this in some way.

Adding additional blue light sources may not be the solution however. Particularly on frozen maps, the dim blue lights on a bluish background would provide very poor contrast. This would not aide in seeing the planes.

If you are having difficulty seeing units try chosing an army colour that has a good contrast with the map background.

I don't think I would have any more or less issues seeing the planes if I were to swap out my Nvidia card for an AMD.

The game was still in pre-alpha then, there were a few minor bugs. There have been immense improvements from patches since then.
