White boxes textures bug and overall low FPS

Hi

Recently purchased Ashes, i know it is still beta, but i'm having some issues with the game.

On benchmark test i'm having less than 10 fps, will all settings on low. The textures have some withe boxes flickerin to it.

My drivers are uptodate obviously, and i meet the requirement, even tho my setup is not the best.

i7 3770K, GTX 680 2gb, 16GB ram. I'm running on windows 7, so directX 11 version of the game.

Some friends with overall lower specs (660gtx for example) can run the game with 30 fps on low. So i'm assuming i should be able to aswell.

Any ideas why i'm encountering those troubles ?

We have seen some reports of this on Windows 7. We are investigating.

Hey,

I had exactly the same issue. Also I could not use the newest Nvidia-Drivers. Game would not start or crash, except a few. So i was forced to use older drivers to play my games. But I had the same issues in AoS and low FPS.

The solution for me:

I tried to manually update my Windows 7. But i got an error massage. I googled and manually installed the Windows Update Manage (or something like that) after that I manually installed Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Then I could search for Windows Updates again and wow = 227 updates to install. Restarting countless times and now my system is truely updated. Now i can use the newest graphics-drivers again and most important

AoS works just fine. Benchmarks without those white boxes and flickering textures. On High settings I get roughly 50FPS.

I hope this works
