Crashin in games vs AI substrate isolated

As mentioned in other threads I have been running into an issue where the AI opponent (been playing against substrate AI recently) the AI will take a single point then stop going forward.  I managed to get a plane to their base right as a 3 unit squad was emerging from a factory.  The squad then proceeded to fly away (ground units) moving upward and outward from their spawn point.  I could see them on radar at times but they were not there on the ground so I figured they were flying overhead.  I assume as they fly out there is a variable(z position maybe) that eventually overflows causing the game to CTDT.

If yall can isolate the bug that causes the units to float away from the ground it should fix the CTDT.

UPDATE: Unfortunately after several more tests this issue still persists even with the map not revealed for me. I got my hopes up but I still cannot seem to isolate the variable to this issue. It seems random at the start whether or not the AI will have this bug or not :(

 

The issue is present for both the PHC and Substrate AI. Produced units (except for engineers) Just sort of float away in random directions, sometimes even into the ground...
