Deskscapes windows 10

decoder error message

Hi there everyone

This is such an awesome site and I'm loving the pics here, I'm however experiencing a little problem regarding the Desksapes program, whenever I launch the program it gives me this message numerous times

"Unfortunately Microsoft decided to remove MPEG-2 decoders from windows 8 and without purchasing the Microsoft decoder or installing a third party decoder you cannot play this dream.

If you have done this and still get this message then the dream may be an unusual video resolution and it is not suitable on windows 8.

Would you like to visit our website for more information?"

Ok so I'm running Windows 10 and I have downloaded a third party decoder, but the message wont go away, although the above message keeps popping up the the dream does actually work so there is no need for this message to keep coming up all the time, so to cut a long story short, is there any way of preventing the message from popping up?

Thanks guys

Maybe try deleting Deskscapes Reboot then Re-Install

Make sure you have a codec pack that includes

the Mpeg-2 codec

K Lite Full / Mega should work

I'm using Win 10 with K Lite Full

Never got the warning screen your getting

The older dreams used the Mpeg-2 codec

The newer dreams the last few years don't use the Mpeg-2 anymore ..

The newer ones should work without problems

Your computer make-up of course can be the source of some problems
