Every time I try to opt in to betas it prompts for a code how do I find that code.
There's only been a couple of times that we have actually needed a code. That will always be there, the option to enter a code, but most of the time it hasn't been required and just selecting the opt-in option gets you ready for when it's released. You can also keep it selected so you never have to worry about missing any opt-in releases and they will be automatically downloaded. If a code is needed, it has been posted in the first post of the thread indicating that one is ready to go. I'm assuming we're (the Elite Founders, that is) going to need one for the beta of the DLC that's due out this week.
You can also check your 'downloads' on store.stardock.com (same username/password as logging onto the forums). I think your beta access code will wind up there for Mercenaries if that's what your waiting for as an elite founder (IIRC, elite founders get the expansions whereas regular founders got only DLC?) as well as being e-mailed to you (I think). I've been checking daily ... no Mercenaries beta code yet there or in my e-mail.
Actually the only option i have is to opt out of all betas why. The stardock store has never shown me any betas. Thanks for posting but without another option than opting out of all betas i can't see a way to opt in betas atardock help iman elite founder.
You have to wait to get a Beta Access Code. You won't get that /in/ the Steam client, you'll probably get it through e-mail and/or the Stardock store account, you copy that code when you get it and you will put it into your Steam account.
The beta is obviously not out yet or you would know about it from the general commotion.

It would be nice to know since we've been led to believe we'd have it by now 
At least no one is throwing around the word "promised"! lol Stuff happens. We'll get it when they're ready. Unfortunately, I'll be busy with other things as of Friday and won't have much time to "test" a lot before it actually goes live.
I'm totally guessing here but I'd say that based on PREVIOUS activity (re: updates) that tomorrow is when elite founder's get the beta. I might be wrong, but if memory serves, most Stardock patches have been on Thursdays
It has been a while since the last Twitch so I would also say Th night or Fri morn.
