Themes and window blinds

When I download windows blinds I usually download it to open however it does not open it is downloaded as zip file I can than open it using download from disk to get it work. Earlier versions used to download and install right away. why does not the latest version do this. I run XP pro

When I download a theme it is also in a Zip file however there never is a theme extension in the Zip file. I have them manger loaded it is the latest version according to Star dock central.

Is there a special way to install new themes? How does one get new skins to automatically install and load when downloaded?

Did you recently upgrade to SP2? It has been known for a while that for some people who have upgraded to SP2 the files will download as a .zip rather than a .wba .

This is a Windows problem, but it will sort itself out after a while. Meanwhile you can just rename the files from *.zip too *.wba (for Windowblinds files) or *.suite (for Themes). Double-click on these renamed files and they should install themselves without a problem.
