Start 8 Pinned list too long to display

When there are more pinned items on the Start 8 menu than are able to display in the space available there is no way to scroll down to see the remaining items. Basically the list of pinned items is truncated because it won't fit in the space available. (You can see the first of the hidden items just barely peeking above the "All Programs ->" drop down link. The only way to get the hidden items to appear is to remove some of the pinned items at the top of the menu. Then the hidden items at the bottom appear one by one as you delete the other items which are visible. Why is there no way to scroll down to see the pinned items which are hidden due to lack of space on the menu? Am I missing something?

You can increase the number of items showing on the configure page in Start8.  You can also set it to use small icons which would allow many more to show if you have that many.

We do not offer scrolling in that list as Windows 7 did not and the aim was to simulate the Windows 7 experience.  Usually the list of pinned items would be smaller than the total space.
