Major Issue Please Help

Alright so after doing a backup transfer of my copy of Sins through steam due to getting a new computer I have been encountering a variety of issues. I can't zoom in on anything after a certain point or the image cuts out and goes black till I zoom back out. It auto assigns ships built together into an unbreakable fleet and they refuse to move with the others. I cannot assign fleets the normal way and it refuses to allow me to access the mini bars surround planets for the ships and buildings. Is anyone else having this issue? If so how do I fix it because damn if it ain't annoying to work with.

Why didn't you just reinstall the game? I'm not sure how steam backup copies work, but likely certain settings were set for your old PC that do not work on the new PC. By skipping the reinstall process you might have missed out on installing important drivers, default settings, direct X and other frameworks used by the game etc.
