Serious AMD Gaming Evolved Optimisation Bug.

If you remember me posting my I3 doing about 51 fps with Max settings ?

Well I pushed the optimisation button on the AMD gaming evolved app and could not get the same FPS after this.. With the same settings.

I could not work it out.. BUt I suspected it was the app..

I reinstalled the app over and over..

Look at these

My settings

The first photo is before I optimised the game

The first photo is after optimisation app.

The second photo is the same settings both benchmarks

The third photo is before I optimised the game through the app

The last photo is the benchmark after optimisation,

I have tried to un-install and reinstall Gaming evolved but I get the same poor FPS result after pressing the optimisation button.

If you want to test this, you will have not pushed the optimisation button previously.

So, I reinstalled windows 10, and installed the app - then optimisation.

Wow, I can not believe this..

This took me days and days to work this out guys, and girls. - Days...................................................

Seriously..

Yuz need to send me a t-shirt or something =)

Cheers =)

Your game configuration in the two benchmarks are different.

The Gaming evolved application just changes your graphics settings, which in turn effects your performance.

You did not have to reinstall Windows. You could have just gone into the video options, and reset it to your previous configuration.

Gaming Evolved is total garbage.  I would never, ever have this running on my system.  When I did it caused me numerous problems - crashes, poor performance, etc.

This be the truth.

As I replied in your other post on this:

It would seem the Gaming Evolved application's idea of optimization is bad. If you want to see if you can recover your original, higher FPS, I would uninstall the app. Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html), and then re-install the latest driver for your GPU. Don't re-install the Gaming Evolved application.

The game's in Alpha. I don't believe AMD has a truly tested "optimized" setting for this game yet.
