Max Planets

I was recreating the Sirius Sector from Freelancer when I got the following error message:

"Maximum Number of Galaxy planets reached!"

I look at the forums and it doesn't see, to have any answers on this message. Other posts say that there does not apear to be a limit on the number of planets you can have. I currently have 46 systems and 205 planets created (about half way done). Can any one help me get around this max planet issue.
