Yes just almost same time has the new Win 10 update.

I really think that new Win 10 update mess something, the surprise is that i have instal win 8.1 x64 nvidea drivers  to Win 10 and now all is fluid and bether gameplay ,i can even now make faster maps with quality 6.

So what can be the problem with win 10?

Can it be the Nvidea drivers?

Can it be the Intel HD Graphics that insted using my card use the cpu graphics (i try unstail but not let only let desactivate?

Can it be Ashes engine that its not work well in  this new Win10 update ?

I shoot for the win 10 for now.

We're not sure.  We are still looking into it.  We think it has something to do with their new security features and Nvidia.  Apparently Ashes isn't the only game affected.

Don't take Win10's mandatory, automatic driver updating lightly. I've heard tell before this that MS would overwrite vendor drivers if MS thought theirs were "newer". It's worth checking to see if you're keeping your vendor-specific driver after Win10 updates!

Thanks for the info on the update!

This patch broke the DX12 benchmark..crashes almost every time I run it. AMD 290X card with newest drivers. Any idea what's causing this and when we can expect a patch? No issues before this latest update.

We don't Bink it's the patch. A Windows update came out the same da that seems to be the problem. We are investigating.

Those of you who are affected, try the updating your video drivers. one report we got is the Windows update messed with ppl's vide drivers.

Brother installed drivers after the Windows update and still has the crashing issues. Does seem driver related in some way.

nVidia just released a new driver today (12/21) for you nVidia GPU owners. I find it helps reduce the jerkiness in the DX12 benchmark. But, moreso, what I've found gets rid of it altogether (GTX980SC here) is reducing MSAA to 2x and turning on Temporal AA to High (the only setting I've tried). I can't tell the difference but I've not really looked closely either.

Just thought I'd pass it along...

Sure wish this was passed on to the forum here. I'm not one to have Steam on all the time and hover around their forums. *Shrug*

I sugest you start test with DX12 the benchmarks with lowest settings ,and see in what config crash.

Also with steam on, go to Ashes.exe DX12  and lunch there as admin.

So no thanks for finding and linking it for you and a side swipe at people who look at the Steam forums which I obviously did. Nice!

Yes he is right that it should be on these forums too, and I would never normally mind if he didn't say thanks, but the expression of superiority in, "I'm not one to have Steam on all the time and hover around their forums. *Shrug*" is there whether you see it or not and that did irk me.

Nevermind.

I'm sorry if you found my post dismissive. There was no conscious intent to do so, but can see your point. Apologies if taken poorly. And thanks for the link. I've been busy with the holidays and haven't had a chance to look here - or any other forums - until now.
