Fog of war

The fog of war idea has never been my favourite, the game play its horrible, all this black space .

Cant you have the full map visible and as units go over the area then they detect stuff like power metal enemy factory's and so on as this is making the game look untidy with all this black black black .

There is a terrain exposed gameplay setting that does this. I prefer exposed as well.

We showld have 2 Radar systems.   (I know we have but i dont see what they do has a usefull option  when im fight with 8.000 units and have 60% on Big maps for explore)

 

Ok i know you will say we have options to scout and global abilities  ,but they only for short time ,on short maps ok we find other solutions even iff not the correct but on big maps that dont work unless they stay permanent.

 

The one we have now T1 and at least use the upgrade we have now to a  Range of 300 or 500 but permanent.

This the idea but obvius have to be diferent ( i know what Ashes team think about this but plz think wy not )

Rough topology should be known and readily visible on the minimap. I'm not talking about resources, just the rough topology. Which should have been assessed from orbit, etc. before planting a Nexus.
