Update to 1.07 fails

Why does it try to download twice and fails on the 2nd attempt?

The app is acting very quirky.  First, it takes me to the website to download the 1.07 update.  After it downloads and I click on the .exe to update, it gives me a message that there's a newer version available and asks if I want to download it but it still says it's version 1.07.  This time a box opens up that shows download progress but it always gets interrupted before completing, don't know why.

Quick question.....which program?

Chances are your downloaded file was/is corrupted, but it will be difficult to know until clarification of which proggy...;)

1.07 would be the latest update for Start10. Maybe this is what the OP means.

Figured out that the installer is the issue.  After downloading the update, a box opens saying there is a new version of the INSTALLER available and asks if I want to download it.  Clicking No allows the already downloaded update to continue.  The new installer is corrupt...issue solved.

Knowing our luck with a new OS it's probably that which is corrupt....the silly OS is not entirely ready for public consumption - not really...;)

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?
